In light of our earlier communication to you in April 2021 regarding First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) acquisition of Bank Audi S.A.E. , we are writing to update you about an important integration milestone whereby the legal merger has now been completed between First Abu Dhabi Bank Egypt and Bank Audi S.A.E. The two banks will now be operating in Egypt under the new brand name ‘First Abu Dhabi Bank Misr’ (FABMISR).

Our new brand name reflects FAB Group’s endeavor to ensure that it is well rooted in Egypt and has a local prominence. This is a major milestone in FAB Group’s journey and signifies its strong commitment to the Egyptian market. The new entity will create considerable opportunities for our customers leveraging the combined capabilities.

Following this legal merger, the integration activities will gradually continue, including branding changes alongside various transitional events. We will continue to keep you updated and informed of the progress as the integration moves forward.

As such, you will shortly notice that over the coming few weeks, all Bank Audi S.A.E. and FAB branches, as well as all ATMs will be re-branded to “FABMISR”.
