Ahmed Mamdouh Hassan is the Chief Corporate Governance Officer, Board Secretary, and Head of Sustainability at FABMISR. In this role, he works closely with the FAB Group to develop, lead, and implement the bank’s Corporate Governance and ESG strategies and initiatives.

 

With over 30 years of diverse banking experience, Ahmed has excelled in areas such as Corporate Governance, Strategy, Wealth Management, and Corporate Banking. He is a member of the bank’s Executive Committee, Risk and Control Committee, and Asset Allocation Committee.

 

Ahmed has held leadership roles in prominent multinational banks in Egypt, including National Bank of Abu Dhabi, Crédit Lyonnais Bank, and Chase JP Morgan.

 

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and an Executive MBA in Strategic Management, Mergers & Acquisitions, with a minor in Marketing. Additionally, he has a Diploma in Corporate Finance. His extensive expertise spans Asset Management, Custody, Project Finance, Syndications, M&A acquisition financing, Leasing, and Islamic Finance, enabling him to occupy key positions in financial institutions.
