Mohamed Galal El Din has 25 years of experience in Global Markets with primary focus on Trading and Sales activities (within major asset classes: FX, Fixed Income, commodities). His career includes tenures with Egyptian, GCC and multinationals including Commercial International Bank, Credit Agricole Egypt and FABMISR.

In his most recent role since 2018 as the Head of Global Markets at FABMISR, Galal with his Global Markets team achieved a remarkably successful turn-around by applying a new business model. Under his guidance, the team accomplished several milestones, booked different landmark transactions, thus multiplying the bank's market share in the Global Markets Business. Most importantly, they established the bank as a market leader in Hedging, Structuring, and Financial Solutions Provider for Global Markets.

Galal holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Department of Administration & International Commerce - Faculty of Commerce - Aîn Shams University – Cairo, majoring in Accounting. He has a dual French/Egyptian degree from FNEGE (providing the equivalent to "Maitrise") from the Sorbonne University – Paris. In addition, he holds a Master's degree in Management Control and Internal Audit (D.E.S.S.) from the Sorbonne University, Paris.
